Who can Apply for Ration Card in Himachal Pradesh ?
As we know that ration card is very useful documents but a question may arise in the mind of consumer that Who is eligible for applying for the issuance of a Ration Card in Himachal Pradesh. Below we are providing details of eligibility for ration in Himachal Pradesh.
The Person Having No Ration Card: If you dint have ration Card and you are going to apply for first time, in this case, you have to produce a certificate from the Panchayat Pradhan / Inspector, FCS&CA / Concerned Authority in writing that the person having no ration card.
Temporary Ration Card: The temporary ration card will be issued to migratories and duration of the card should not exceed more than three months.
Duplicate Ration Card: If you lost or misplaced, the competent authority can issue duplicate ration card after charging the appropriate fee.Details about fees are mentioned below.
The person having ration card at the previous place: The consumer can change adress of ration card by producing surrender certificate. The consumer have to submit a application form along with surrender certificate to get new ration Card with address change.
In case of birth of child: For the addition to be made in the ration card , the birth certificate of the child is required along with ration card in which the addition has to be made along with the application form addressed to the Inspector, FCS&CA /Panchayat Pradhan.
How to Apply For Ration Card ?
If any person is not having the card he / she must have to contact to their nearest panchayat officer or concerned authority person.
Applicants have to attach their complete documents and have to fill the application form with their family information along with the annual income certificate.
Submit the Application form to the Panchayat Pradhan in case of rural areas and to the Inspector (FCS&CA) in case of urban areas.
After some verification and formalities Ration Card will be issued.
Application Fess for Ration Card in Himachal Pradesh
- For New Ration Card: A fee of Rs.5/- is charged from APL families.
- For Duplicate Ration Card: A fee of Rs.5/- is charged for issuance of a Ration Card.
